How to become an Esky Reporter
Being an Esky Reporter is simple. There’s no forms to fill out, no writing samples and definitely no auditions! Simply download Skype, establish a free Skype account, and follow ‘twoschooners’. The next time we record an episode, if you are available in Skype we may call you.
You don’t need to be funny – we just want to have a chat. Normally we’ll ask your opinion about something topical we are discussing on the show at the time.
It’s surprisingly fun, and easy to do!
Where did the name Esky Reporter come from?
In order to understand what an Esky Reporter is, it’s helpful to understand the origin of the word “Esky”. Esky is an Australian brand of cooler, and it’s name is a reference to Eskimos with cold climates. To everyone else an Esky is just a chiller for beer.
